Installing Bracket:
First attach the bracket to your 4x4 post with wood screws (Not included), while ensuring that it is level. After, attach the mailbox with the included bolt pack. Tighten until secure.
USPS guidelines, follow these recommendations:
Position the mailbox 41” to 45” from the road surface to the bottom of the mailbox or point of mail entry.
Place the mailbox 6” to 8” back from the curb. If there is no raised curb, consult your local postmaster for guidance.
Ensure your house or apartment number is displayed on the mailbox.
If your mailbox is located on a different street from your residence, include your full street address on the box.
When attaching the mailbox to your house, make sure it is easily accessible for the postal carrier from the sidewalk, steps, or porch.
